After School Care at Millstream is full, and currently taking a waitlist. Due to the high demand of care, currently we only service Millstream Elementary. If you would like your name added to the waitlist please email us with the following: parent/guardian name, contact information, child’s name, current grade, and the type of care you require. Priority is given to current members and their siblings, then to those who require both Before & After school care, then to those requiring only After school care.
Breakfast - it’s the MOST important meal of the day! We will continue to offer our FREE Breakfast Club in Morning Care for the 2012/13 School Year. We are open every morning at 7:00am, and will be serving a variety of healthy foods to get our club members starting their day off right. Spaces are still available - contact us to register your child today!

Girls Night is a fun and empowering group for girls ONLY, ages 8-12 in the Multipurpose Room at David Cameron Elementary on Friday nights from 6-8pm. The girls do fun activities, meet new friends and develop life skills in a safe and welcoming environment with our amazing staff and volunteers! The programming reflects the interest of the girls, however, typical activities include: baking, spa nights, yoga, dance, active games both inside and out, crafts, swimming, fun out-trips and so much more! Boys Night - Ages 9-12
Join us on Friday nights from 6-8pm in the gym at David Cameron School for an energetic and active evening for boys ONLY, ages 9-12. Boys Night participants have mentorship from our incredible staff and volunteers, and enjoy active games, team building, and a chance to burn off some of that extra energy. Programming aims to meet the specific interests of the participants, however typical activities include: gym games, floor hockey, scavenger hunts, food challenges, The Amazing Race, swimming, camp fires, and so much more! Keystone
Keystone Leadership is held on Thursdays afterschool from 3:30- 6:45 pm; pick up and drop off from Dunsmuir Middle School, and Belmont Secondary. The program is run out of the Outdoor Centre at 3900 Metchosin Rd.
Westshore Keystone is combining our program with the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Youth will have the opportunity to work towards their Bronze Level of the award by setting goals in the area of physical fitness, service, life skills, adventurous journey, and more! Program is tailored and designed to meet the interest of the participants. The cbeulmination of the program will be an overnight canoeing expedition in June. Youth will have the opportunity to earn canoe certifications over March Break, and day trips on Pro D Days. For more information on the award check out: http://www.dukeofed.org/bc

Our trained adventure program staff will take groups of youth from the Westshore out to the Boys and Girls Club Outdoor Centre, where they will create a safe and exciting learning environment for participants to set and achieve goals! Through experiential, adventure-based learning activities, the youth will develop greater self-awareness and self-confidence, and build healthy relationships with the environment and their peers. Activities include orienteering, canoeing, rock climbing, archery, slack lining, nature excursions, low ropes, and more! No session over Spring Break
A new eight week session will start for Rite of Me, the Girls Only program where the focus is on physical activity, with reflection, and healthy lifestyle mentorship. We focus on empowerment, self-esteem, self-expression and self-image through outdoor adventure programming. Hosted at our Outdoor Centre in Metchosin, activities include archery, rock climbing, low ropes challenge course, hiking, ‘The Amazing Race’, cooking, team building, crafts, and games. Under the mentorship of dedicated female staff, emphasis is placed on self-reflection, goal setting, and building positive female relationships. Transportation and nutritious snacks are provided.

A, B, C’s and 1, 2, 3’s! We offer Literacy and Numeracy programs for children in Grade 1 - Grade 3, and Grade 4 - Grade 6. We discover each child’s comprehension and skill level and create a program that is adequately engaging, challenging, and most importantly, fun! We take a 'strengths-based approach' to learning through play where each child receives a positive mentorship from our enthusiastic staff and a take home package to practice their skills.
Games and Activities include: Scrabble Tag, Jackpot, Super Mario Yahtzee, Words with Friends, Math Scavenger Hunts and More!

Pro-D Day Schedule:
Stay tuned for exciting Pro-D day scheduling for the 2013/2014 school year!
Strong Girls is one of two pilot programs in Clubs across Canada and it is made possible by Kraft and Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada.
In this program we pick up girls age 11-16 from schools in Langford and take them out to different locations in the community for fun and fitness! We focus on physical activity and nutrition and positive female relationships. Participants will try activities like: boot camp, local hikes, yoga, Pilates, receive intro to weights and the gym from personal trainers, low ropes, canoeing, archery, rock climbing, cooking and baking lessons, start grocery shopping and more! Participants will have the opportunity to attend a weekend Yoga retreat in June at our Outdoor Centre in Metchosin, for a weekend of health and relaxation! Yoga, dance, cooking classes, and nature adventures, journaling, special guests, and artistic expression will be offered during the retreat.
Pick up from Spencer School at 3:10. Drop off at 6:45pm at the Belmont student drop off on Jacklin Rd. (closest to the mall).

Adventurers Wanted!
Are you adventurous and like being outdoors? Do you like to have fun, play in mud, run, climb, jump, and swim? Are you ready for an awesome summer camp experience? If so, then we have what you're looking for! At our Outdoor Adventure Summer Camp, you will meet new friends and have 98 acres of forest, trails, fields and two ponds to explore! Activities include swimming, rock climbing, fort building, nature identification, races, and teamwork all in the sunshine and fresh air! This camp isn’t daycare, this camp is an EXPERIENCE!
Try out our climbing tower, low ropes course, archery range, and canoes! We have epic games of Capture the Flag, Fear Factor, and Muddy Mayhem in store for you! Qualified and knowledgeable leaders will teach you some awesome games and skills, so you can try new things, and reach new heights in a safe and fun environment. So what are you waiting for? Grab your gear, and let’s go have some FUN! Find out what it’s like to experience all the fun and activities of an overnight camp- without having to stay overnight!

As a participant of one of our leadership camps you will meet new friends, learn valuable skills, mentor young children, and plan and take part in an overnight expedition! You and eleven other participants will spend two weeks together earning certifications, developing leadership, group management, camp programming, environmental stewardship, and wilderness survival skills. Working with the kids in our Summer Camps will give you a chance to practice your new leadership skills. You will be paired with a group leader who will assist you to run a program during a summer camp activity or out trip. The finale of the program will be an overnight trip that you plan as a group from start to finish. With the guidance of your leaders, you will organize the trip, plan the route, arrange the food and pack the equipment. The night/s out will be memories that will stay with you forever!
Activities: Rock climbing, low ropes, archery, field and forest games, canoeing, swimming, trip planning and overnight expedition, shelter & fire building, risk management, intentional programming and more.

There is a small yearly non-refundable membership fee required when registering your child with Boys & Girls Club Services. The membership fees are: $25.00 per child or $45.00 per family. Subsidy applications are available at the Club.
