The team is selected for their skills, leadership, passion for the outdoors and mentoring the growth and development of young people. Our camp leaders are very experienced in delivering safe, exciting, and challenging programs for children and youth. Our selection process looks at a staff’s credentials including post-secondary education in associated fields such as education, child and youth care, and outdoor recreation. All our staff has first aid and CPR training, clear criminal record checks, training and experience in behaviour and risk management, positive behaviour support, positive discipline, training on our outdoor camp elements, and other valuable education and skills related to the field of Wilderness/Outdoor Experiential education.
