Wild About Whales 2013

A brand new component of Wild About Whales this year is our Gala Cruise aboard the Orca Spirit II, a 95 foot catamaran that will take us out for a 2 ½ hour cruise around the waters of Greater Victoria.  We have lots planned – a strolling magician, music bingo, a live auction, great food from Truffles Catering and more.  This is a fundraiser folks so tickets are $150 with a $75 tax receipt.

They’re baaack!  The little yellow rubber whales are coming out of retirement and revving up for a new race on June 15th.  Once again they will be gathering in the waters by the Esquimalt Gorge Park just waiting for the starting horn to begin another historic race to the finish line.  You can ‘adopt’ a whale or whales by buying a raffle ticket that has a number corresponding to a number on the whale.  You can order your tickets online or get them directly from the Development Office – 250.384.9133 local 115 or 215.  Single Whale tickets are $5 each; Pod Packs are $20 for 5 whales; and, the Leviathan Pack of 25 whales is $100.

The first six whales to cross the finish line come with fantastic prizes!
